2016 Holiday Decorating Contest

2016 Holiday Decorating Contest The Laurel Oaks Holiday Decorating Contest is a great way to show off your community pride and light up this special season. So pull out your Santas, sleds, reindeer, wreaths - and don’t forget the lights! The contest is open to all residents within the Laurel Oaks Community. Judging will be done by volunteers in the evenings starting this weekend and running through to Christmas Day. Winners will be announced after that.

Happy National Good Neighbor Day - Wednesday September 28th Today we acknowledge the importance of a good neighbor. It is a blessing to have a good neighbor, but it is an even greater thing to be a good neighbor. Good neighbors watch out for each other, lend a helping hand and are there for advice when asked. Neighbors offer a lawn mower when ours breaks down, collect our mail when we are on vacation, watch our homes and sometimes watch our children or our pets. Being a good neighbor makes good neighbors.
